How to Get The Hottest Sedu Hairstyles

30 June 2011

What makes the celebrity Sedu hairstyles unique though? Why are the Sedu hairstyles so popular?

The celebrity Sedu hairstyles are very popular for a lot of women who have naturally curly hair, or thicker and more course hair. Many celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Halle Barry, Angelina Jolie and many others do not have natural long smooth and flowing hair like you constantly see them sporting on television and in movies. The secret of many movie stars is their celebrity Sedu Hairstyles. Why would they choose Sedu hairstyles    though?

The celebrity Sedu hairstyles are very popular for a reason. The Sedu hairstyles    are created using the Sedu Hair Iron. The Sedu hair iron is uniquely designed and patented using ceramic plates that are actually made of tourmaline crystals. These are combined with a negative ionic charge in order to remove static from the hair. This alleviates the problems of cling in their celebrity Sedu Hairstyles. The end result is a Sedu Hairstyle that will last longer and look better than any other.

How do the celebrity Sedu hairstyles last longer and why? The patented ionic technology of the Sedu hair iron increases the hold in the hair. While this may not seem plausible at first, let us see why. Between the patented tourmaline ceramic plates and infrared heating technology the Sedu flat iron actually molds the hair. The celebrity     Sedu hairstyles last longer because there is no need (On most Sedu Hairstyles) for hairspray or other chemicals, which often fail when exposed to heat or light.

What about dyed hair? Actors and actresses frequently have to dye their hair and change their celebrity hairstyles in order to fit better in certain roles. The Sedu flattener Iron is designed so that there is no conflict with dyes or tints normally used in hair coloring. The celebrity Sedu hairstyles you see can be done with any color or variety of hair.

Many ethnic actresses are big fans of the celebrity Sedu hairstyle. Often the desired result is simply to straighten curly, unruly or kinky hair. The Sedu hair iron’s unique patented design and construction make it ideal for this use. Many of the celebrity Sedu hairstyles you have seen are a direct result of using nothing more than the Sedu hair iron and little or nothing else.

Whether the celebrity and the celebrity Sedu Hairstyle in question is on Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, Pamela Anderson (C’mon, you didn’t think her hair was naturally that way did you?) or one of the many other celebrity Sedu hairstyles being seen more and more among Hollywood’s elite, you can be sure the Sedu celebrity hairstyle was created using a quality made Sedu Hair Iron. If you want to make your own hair style comparable to the many celebrity Sedu Hairstyles, the first step is get your own Sedu hair Iron. The possibilities for your Sedu hairstyles or even celebrity Sedu hairstyles really are limited only by your imagination.

Charlie Sheen, The Art of Winning, And Recovery

Watching the recent interviews with Charlie Sheen have left me with many conflicted emotions. More than anything, I look in the mirror and think, Dan Griffin, but for the Grace of God there go I.

I also feel sadness, disgust, and pity. I feel as though I am part of the problem – watching the interviews and ogling over the incredibly devastating car wreck unfolding before us. He doesn’t need people taking pictures of him in the car in flames, he needs help. And few of the media exploits in the past week have been focused on that. Because our society sure loves its disasters!  His struggles with drug addiction, gambling, and other unhealthy behaviors are legendary. We have been watching an addict kill himself slowly for two decades. And the media and his employers (aka CBS and Warner Bros.) have been great enablers for years.

What has struck me the most about the recent events is the word Mr. Sheen has used throughout his interviews: over and over again he talks about “winning.” In his mind, Mr. Sheen is “winning” and is a “winner.” Why does he say that? Because, in his own words: he is a genius actor who has singlehandedly kept CBS and Warner Brothers solvent, has the two “goddesses” (one a “former” porn star and the other a model/marijuana advocate) living in his “Sober Valley Lodge,” the car he drives, and the money he makes. Sound familiar? Look back over the past century and you will see that this resume is not new for any man who has ever tried out for the job of Superman.

The evidence Sheen uses to make his case for why he is a “winner” with “tiger blood” and “Adonis DNA” are all the trappings that we have been told for decades will make us happy as men. We are told from very early we should fantasize about sex with two women, big fancy cars and homes, and, of course, fame and power. Mr. Sheen has all of this. I cannot say whether or not Mr. Sheen is happy; I can introduce him to hundreds of men who have tried that approach and only found it empty and unfulfilling — and many who have almost died at the hands of that very seductive goal.

Is Sheen using? It is not clear. He passed a drug test for his interview with Radar online.  Or perhaps, as many experts think, he is having an extremely manic episode. Regardless, he does seem to be exhibiting the behaviors of someone who is having some sort of mental health breakdown. What is clear is that Mr. Sheen is speaking in a way that is beyond grandiose, and I can only imagine the impact it is having on those who care about him the most, particularly his father.

If you listened closely to Sheen’s comments there is something else there that seems to be underlying his rants about the foolishness of AA and the concepts of recovery embraced by many in our field. I heard in Sheen’s comments what I have heard from many men struggling with addiction over the years: not that it didn’t work for them, but that it couldn’t work for them. Tired of being vulnerable and sharing the innermost parts of their lives and not being able to get sober, they give up. “I tried it for 22 years,” Sheen said, “trying to do what everyone else wanted me to, and where did it get me?” He did not say it couldn’t work for him, but I have to wonder what is really lying underneath all of the bravado.

Unless he truly is as special as he professes, Sheen is scared, confused, and feeling resigned to a life of addiction because one of recovery seems so elusive to him. He has to prove to all of us that he is such a winner because — you guessed it — he doesn’t feel that way at all. There is nothing more painful than having to convince yourself that the way you are killing yourself is the only way to live.

I do truly and sincerely hope that Mr. Sheen “wins,” but I have a feeling if it happens that it will not look at all like he thinks it should. And that is a very good thing.

Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Episodes I-Vi) [Blu-Ray] Review

27 June 2011
Comments Off

Star Wars — the modern American epic, a groundbreaking sci-fantasy story, and a pop culture tornado.

So whether you love it, hate it, or experience both emotions for different parts of the story, it’s undeniable that “Star Wars: The Complete Saga” inspires passionate emotion in almost everybody. The original trilogy is absolutely brilliant, the prequel trilogy much less so, but it’s definitely one of those things you HAVE to watch one way or another.

All six movies form a multigenerational epic — the prequel trilogy follows the sinister Darth Sidious and his Sith minions infiltrating and slowly conquering the Galactic Republic. In the meantime, the Jedi find a child, Anakin Skywalker, who is said to be the Chosen One (groan, another overused fantasy trope).

Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) is entrusted with the boy’s training, but he cannot stop Anakin’s increasingly dark, angry feelings from swaying him. As Darth Sidious manipulates wars, planets and the Jedi Order itself, Anakin becomes his greatest pawn.

Then we get to the original trilogy, which takes place about twenty years later. The Republic has turned into the brutal, cruel Empire, but there is a Rebellion fighting against it from the shadows. Young farmer Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) ends up on the run with the mysterious hermit Ben Kenobi (Alec Guinness), a pair of quirky droids, scruffy pilot Han Solo (Harrison Ford), and feisty Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher).

As he helps the Rebellion fight the Empire, Luke learns that he has the potential to be a Jedi, and he turns out to be more powerful than anyone expected. However, the evil Darth Vader (David Prowse/James Earl Jones) has a particular interest in Luke — and soon reveals the shocking connection between them, which will change Luke’s life forever.

The Star Wars Saga is more than just a series of movies: it’s been homaged, spoofed, quoted ripped-off, studied, dissected, analyzed, spun off and even had a tiny religion named after it. It is a pop culture juggernaut, and it is impossible to escape all the stuff connected to it — honestly, who has never heard “Luke, I am your father” (even if that never was actually said)?

So how good is it? Well, the original trilogy is absolutely brilliant — a seamless blend of groundbreaking special effects, classic storytelling and solid acting. Things do get a bit goofy with the introduction of the living teddy bears, but you cannot deny the raw, gritty power of the last scenes of “The Empire Strikes Back,” or the exultant golden joy of “A New Hope’s” finale.

The prequel trilogy is… not nearly as bad as people say. Yes, it’s overloaded with special effects, the stories are flabbier, and Jar Jar Binks makes me want to stab myself in the head with a barbeque fork. But it still has some solid content, such as the Greek tragedy that Anakin’s life turns into, or the death of Obi-Wan’s mentor Qui-Gon Jinn.

Similarly, the acting is a mixed bag. The original trio of Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford are absolutely brilliant, and there’s a real chemistry there that makes you believe that these three are fast friends… and in Han and Leia’s case, a bit more (“I love you!” “I know”). And you’ve got the other classic characters: Chewie, the droids, and the hulking deep-voiced Vader.

The prequel trilogy has great performances by Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson, Christopher Lee, and the glorious Ian McDermid… buuuuuutt, we’re also treated to very wooden performances by Natalie Portman and Hayden Christenson. Especially in their romantic scenes, (“I’m not afraid to die. I’ve been dying a little bit each day since you came back into my life”).

Despite its flaws, “Star Wars: The Complete Saga” is a movie series that everybody should definitely watch — it still has plenty of power, imagination and fun.

Hairy Vs. Harry: ‘tangled’ Wins Weekend Box Office (Ap)

27 June 2011
Comments Off

Mandy Moore‘s animated musical “Tangled,” a new take on long-haired fairy-tale princess Rapunzel, sewed up the No. 1 spot with .5 million in its second weekend, according to studio estimates Sunday. That raised the Disney release’s domestic total to .5 million.

“Tangled” had debuted in second-place over Thanksgiving behind “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1,” which had been at the top of the box office the two previous weekends.

“Harry Potter” slipped to No. 2 this weekend with .7 million. The next-to-last chapter in the Warner Bros. franchise about the teen wizard lifted its domestic haul to 4.2 million.

Playing largely to family crowds, “Tangled” should hold on well through the holidays, said Chuck Viane, head of distribution for Disney.

“It’s not very often the second week of a movie that it ends up the No. 1 movie,” Viane said. “This will be one of those leggy movies that just keeps playing and playing.”

Business was off sharply after a brisk Thanksgiving weekend, which is one of the busiest periods of the year at movie theaters.

With just million in overall receipts, this was Hollywood’s second-worst weekend of the year, behind the meager .8 million haul the weekend after Labor Day, according to box-office tracker Hollywood.com.

“It was a bad weekend,” said Paul Dergarabedian, analyst for Hollywood.com. “It just shows that people got a lot of their movie-going out of the way over that five-day Thanksgiving weekend, and this weekend, they went, `Ahh, we’ve seen it.’”

Overall revenues also were down from last year. The million in revenue was off 11.5 percent compared to the same weekend in 2009, when “The Blind Side” led the box office with million, according to Hollywood.com.

The weekend’s only new wide release, Rogue Pictures’ action tale “The Warrior’s Way,” was a dud with just .1 million. Playing in 1,622 theaters, “The Warrior’s Way” averaged a weak ,881 a cinema, compared to ,967 in 3,603 cinemas for “Tangled.”

Starring Kate Bosworth, “The Warrior’s Way” is a martial-arts adventure about an assassin hiding out in the Old West.

Natalie Portman‘s ballet drama “Black Swan” had a huge debut in limited release, taking in .4 million in just 18 theaters, for a whopping average of ,459 a theater.

Released by Fox Searchlight, “Black Swan” stars Portman as a dancer who begins to lose herself in delusion amid the pressures of preparing for the lead in Swan Lake. The film gradually expands into nationwide release through Christmas week.

Also in limited release, Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor‘s gay romance “I Love You Phillip Morris” opened solidly with 3,200 in six theaters, averaging ,886.

Carrey stars as a scam artist who finds the love of his life (McGregor) in state prison. The movie gradually expands into wide release through early January.

Estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Hollywood.com. Final figures will be released Monday.

1. “Tangled,” .5 million.

2. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1,” .7 million.

3 (tie). “Burlesque,” .1 million.

3 (tie). “Unstoppable,” .1 million.

5. “Love & Other Drugs,” .7 million.

6. “Megamind,” million.

7. “Due Date,” .2 million.

8. “Faster,” .8 million.

9. “The Warrior’s Way,” .1 million.

10. “The Next Three Days,” .7 million.
